When should I schedule my vehicle transport?

It is better to arrange your transport in advance, sometimes weeks ahead of time.  That way you are able to get the best price and greater flexibility.  Expedited or rushed orders can incur additional fees.

Does CheapShot Auto Movers provide door-to-door service.

Yes, our carriers are able to accommodate door-to-door transport.  However, conditions must be suitable such as accessible streets and roadways, no obstructions like low-hanging wires, trees, etc.  Otherwise, an acceptable alternate location can be arranged.

Do you offer express or overnight service?

Yes, CheapShot Auto Movers can accommodate expedited and overnight (depending on distance) service in rush situations.  Express shipments can cost anywhere from $200 to $500 more, depending on the time of year and other factors.

How can I get a quote?

You are able to receive a quote by contacting us directly from the website or by calling our office at 512-808-7473.  You may also email us at CheapShotAuto@gmail.com

What methods of payment does CheapShot Auto accept?

We have very flexible options to meet every customer need.  We accept all major credit/debit cards via our website, CashApp, Zelle and Venmo.

When will I be charged?

Per the quoted price, a deposit is due to CheapShot Auto Movers at the time of dispatch to a carrier.  The deposit amount will depend on the type of vehicle and distance.  The balance of the quoted price is due to the carrier upon delivery and is based on the agreed terms of payment.

Is the deposit refundable?

Since the deposit is not collected until a confirmed dispatch, the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.

I received a quote and am ready to proceed.  What do I do?

We are available by phone at 512-808-7473 to schedule your transport.  Please contact us and we will process the order, collect the deposit and arrange for carrier dispatch.

Must I be present at the time of pick-up and delivery?

Yes, we request that you or an authorized party be available to release and receive the vehicle.  Both you and our driver will complete an inspection at both locations and will need to confirm the condition of the vehicle.

How do I prepare my vehicle for transport?

Please visit the Shipping Tips section of our website for details on what you should do prior to shipment.

Am I able to contact you for the status of my shipment?

Yes, you may contact us during normal business hours for a status.  You will also be provided with the contact information for the carrier, and may reach out to them directly to coordinate pick-up and delivery times.

How long will it take for my delivery?

The delivery time will vary based on location and distance.  Our carriers will strive to meet your delivery expectations.  But keep in mind that carriers are restricted by speed and driving time due to local and federal laws.  Also, road conditions and weather may be factors.

Can I pack my personal belongings in the vehicle?

Most carriers prefer that you not pack personal items in the vehicle, however, if it is a must there will be a 100 pound limit.  Carriers will not be liable for any lost or damaged items.  Additional fees, at the carrier's discretion, may apply for weight over the weight limit.
